This page explains what information jacobwulff.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. jacobwulff.com is run by Jacob Wulff. We don't sell your personal information, and we only use it for the reasons below.

Information you give us

  • Contact and booking forms. When you send a message or a speaking or book signing request, we collect what you type: your name, email address, message, and any optional details you add. It's emailed to us so we can reply to you, and it isn't used for anything else.
  • Newsletter. If you sign up and check the permission box, we save your email address and add it to our email list (we use MailerLite to send it). You'll get news about books, events, and updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave anytime.

Form messages are delivered through Resend, an email service. Our website is hosted by Vercel.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, like which pages are read most and which links get clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, roughly where you're located (city or region), the device and browser you use, and the site that sent you here. It doesn't tell us who you are. You can read how Google uses this information or block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without using cookies and doesn't identify you.

Links and content from other sites

This site links to stores like Ko-fi, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart, where you can buy books. When you buy something there, that store handles your order and payment under its own privacy policy, not ours.

Some pages show content from other services: a YouTube video (shown in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode) and photos from Jacob's Instagram. Those services may collect information when their content loads, under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

  • You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by sending a message through the contact page.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
